Just pulled the pin on a 6,1 - It's a 2013 release model with the twin D300's, 4 core Xeon and 250GB SSD.

Can I just buy any old NVmE SSD and throw it in?

I'm also assuming FirePro D700's are the best video cards for it and aren't cheap?
