Looks like Apple underestimated the demand for nano texture displays. 6-7 weeks estimate while standard glass is readily available. 😓

I decided against it. I use the pencil a good bit and decided I was not going to take a chance.

I don’t think it is the glsss that is causing the delay. It is the special wiping cloths that are included that you must use to clean off the screen. Those are in high demand from the nano-glass Apple Studio Displays and they’re running low. :D

I guess they know from other products that this is less often requested and might just have an initial longer lead until we geeks have our device in hand.

Chance of what, what’s your concern?

When they said that a special cloth was included for cleaning, that concerned me. Using the pencil on the screen also concerned me that it would wear on the matte finish. I have not had huge problems with reflections so I went with the traditional glass.

I plan to check in-store stock over the next few weeks (I have a nano texture model scheduled to arrive mid-June). Sometimes a few CTO models are available at select stores.

Same. I am also going to store tomorrow morning and see if they have any.
