I've purchased two different cables now, both ended up not working within a few months. I'm guessing it's due to getting bent at the lightening end. Any recommendations for a cord that can handle some bending?
amazon I have a 10ft one I usually get braided ones

This one
When it comes to iPhone accessories, I almost always go Anker. Not only will you get a high quality item, they also have amazing customer service and a lifetime warranty in the event that the cord does break or stop working. They'll just send you a new one.
While I have no experience with this style cable, I'll also vote for Anker as a good brand to choose. Haven't ever had a problem with any of my Anker devices.
I've also been happy with Aukey, Monoprice (see monoprice.com), CableMatters, and even AmazonBasics.
I've come to realize that Aukey products look decent, but the quality can't touch Anker. It was an OEM Apple and Aukey that failed within months.

Nomad. What do you use an usbc to lightening for? I got the Nomad cable and since it’s not a normal usb end I can’t charge my phone with it. It only goes in the nomad wireless charging pad.
Yep. You'll need a brick with a USB-C plug in. Though you can keep using the 5W but you won't get any fast charge features. So dumb question but I have a bunch of the standard 5w usb a bricks. So those won’t work anymore now that I need an iPhone for lightning to usb c to get fast charge? Meaning I need usb c plugs now?

Are you charging the phone or jump roping? 😅
