I've purchased two different cables now, both ended up not working within a few months. I'm guessing it's due to getting bent at the lightening end. Any recommendations for a cord that can handle some bending?

This one

When it comes to iPhone accessories, I almost always go Anker. Not only will you get a high quality item, they also have amazing customer service and a lifetime warranty in the event that the cord does break or stop working. They'll just send you a new one.

This seems to be the best in terms of reviews, I think I'll go for it!

Thank you for the link as well.

While I have no experience with this style cable, I'll also vote for Anker as a good brand to choose. Haven't ever had a problem with any of my Anker devices.

I've also been happy with Aukey, Monoprice (see monoprice.com), CableMatters, and even AmazonBasics.

It was an OEM Apple and Aukey that failed within months.

Nomad. What do you use an usbc to lightening for? I got the Nomad cable and since it’s not a normal usb end I can’t charge my phone with it. It only goes in the nomad wireless charging pad.

I have an iPad Pro that doesn't like any of the old chargers. I ended up with this:

iPhone Charger Cable, Anker USB C to Lightning Cable [6ft Apple Mfi Certified] Powerline+ II Nylon Braided Cable for iPhone SE / 11 Pro/X/XS/XR / 8 Plus/AirPods Pro, Supports Power Delivery (Upgraded) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07XMBR4CC/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_fabc_WRUPFbS42GR1C?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1

It feels super sturdy around the plugs and the braided cord is nice.

So dumb question but I have a bunch of the standard 5w usb a bricks. So those won’t work anymore now that I need an iPhone for lightning to usb c to get fast charge? Meaning I need usb c plugs now?

Yep. You'll need a brick with a USB-C plug in. Though you can keep using the 5W but you won't get any fast charge features.

I’ve had a 10 foot Native Union Belt Cable XL lightning cable for several years now and it still works. We use it on our couch and it gets laid on and sat on daily, so it definitely stands up to a beating.

I’ve always gone with Anker, but I picked up a JSAUX car charger back in January just because it matched the interior of my car. Came with a 3 ft usb c to usb c cable for my iPad and no issues with it since then so I got two 6 foot lightening to usb c from them on Amazon a few weeks ago. They seem really good as well so far.

There are also coupons available at the moment plus a promo for 30% off a 20w wall charger (also a coupon for that too) if you get the cable and the charger. I did also get that 20w and works well for me too.
