How do we know these are genuine? Just wondering since it says it won't come in regular packaging and the pics are "stock" images.

Well the seller does seem to be pretty credible based on his feedback. Seems legit.

Just ordered 4! Thanks OP!

$6.99 iPhone Genuine Lightning Cable

You don't. I bought a few of these so-called genuine cables on eBay before. Looked exactly like the ones that come with the iPhone/iPad. Turned out to be fake because the cable stopped working when I updated my firmware.

Judging by the 2nd pic in the ebay listing, these definitely aren't genuine lol. I'll pass.

I just got it in the mail today and it looks legit, everything the same size. I'm ordering 2 more today. thanks!

I bought one of these from a different seller. Literally identical. I have big magnifying glasses and it was identical. Even the plastic holder around it. But I can't be sure.

The chinese are VERY good at replicating every detail (one guy brought them a shirt one time and told them to replicate it exactly. They did..including an unnoticed cigarette burn..on 1000 copies).

I emailed the seller and he said he licensed them from apple and bought 100,000 of them from apple and had a 186 page contract lmao.

They aren't genuine. You will get a lot better and far cheaper ordering from China.

"But the cable needs to be plugged in for about 5 minutes so the 6 will recognize it" Yeah no... They're not genuine.

What are you talking about?

EDIT: Funny I haven't had any issue yet it recognizes the phone right away

mine came today and it is indeed an oem cable. identical to the one that came with the iPhone 6. great price and fast shipping!

You can buy a 2 pack of good MFi cables on amazon for $16.99 with free prime shipping or $1 more per cable. Doesn't seem worth it to me to save $2.

I ordered two of these as well and received them today. Both work just fine and recognized my phone / charge immediately. Great for the cars.

Fake. Apple does not sell it's products in bulk to anyone. Anything Apple sold in 'Bulk Packaging' is fake.

The eBay seller says "Limit 5 per customer"
What more evidence do you need to know this is a con?
Don't even need to look at a fake pic or the negative feedback.
But, maybe these will work?
I have a Belkin cable that makes my iPhone unhappy sometimes with the message "this accessory not recognized".
