I got the black case from the OP in the mail today and I'm thoroughly impressed! The quality and feel of the faux-leather is great. For a $5 case it's pretty amazing.

Do you have a 6, or 6s? If it's a 6s, does it still fit well, with a bit of a lip around the screen for protection if laying the phone face down? And is there some kind of microfiber inside the case just like the real ones do?

I ordered mine last week for the US shipper. Ill report back once I receive it...USPS shipping update says it should've been here on the 24th...but it also says its still in Cali..weird.

I got the midnight blue but the back cutout for the camera pretty much touches the lens on the bottom left. Besides that it's a good case

The case fits but there is no lip around the screen. I have a glass screen protector. When face down u fell more glass then leather. It does have microfiber inside but overall it's not the same quality as the apple case

I have a 6, and it fits pretty tight with minimal lip. When it's laying face down, the screen doesn't touch unless you have a screen protector on. The glass protectors protrude a little past the lip. I'm not sure if it would fit the 6S, but it's worth a shot since it's only 5 bucks! To answer your other question, there is microfiber in the interior of the case, just like the Apple case. Everything about it is essentially a clone of the Apple leather cases. I would definitely buy more if I needed any.

Ordered a brown and red 6 Plus from US shipper. Both arrived yesterday and compared them to my China shipped black. Same quality, materials, etc. Fits well, red went on a 6 Plus and brown on 6s Plus. Yes the case does touch the camera ring at the bottom but no obstructions during camera operation.

Really digging this case also. $8.95 shipped. Similar leather to the one in the first post but this has total coverage-no open bottom like the Apple leather case. The fit is really nice. There is no reason why Apple could not produce this case except for the fact they do not want to prevent damage and broken screens.

Took 9 days to get to California.

I bought a blue one, cant beat $8. On yours has the color bled yet or do you think it will bleed?
That's my only concern w/ the cheap leather.

I just received mine. It's the one with the open bottom. Not impressed. Glad it was only $5. I removed the felt liner to try to make my 6S fit better but didn't really help. The bottom part of the case doesn't fit well and leaves the glass exposed so no more laying on the table. The "leather" is grippy tho. I'll give it to my niece who has a 6. She'll love it.

I'm gonna try the full coverage case and see how that is.

I got my blue case, it's pretty good for the price. Also like others have said there isn't a lip.

To folks who has been using for a while, did the color bleed on to the phone? That's my only concern with the cheap leather

I really like that the lip is barely noticeable. It's much better than original case. Though buttons are hard to press and mute switch is REALLY difficult to reach.

Edit: I bought two cases, red and blue. The blue one feels more like original, though its leather(?) material is somewhat too smooth compared to original or my red case. It's much easier to press buttons and to put on the case. The red one feels bit too small, buttons aren't as easy to press.

I love the red case and I wish I have bought only it, the blue one is bit too dark and not that great looking.

Looks good for 6$ from the pics!
someone have the Beige color ? wonder if to purchase one.

any updates on how the case is holding up after months of usage ?
One thing I've noticed between the real one and the cheaper (non-Apple) would be where the camera is. After using these cases for 3 months each the camera cut out on the non-apple case is cracked a bit.. I believe this to be because the case itself is a bit snug on the 6s Plus. Other then that both haven't discolored a whole lot, hardly if at all noticeable, I prefer the official case because it isn't overly snug but the non-apple one isn't bad at all for the $6 paid.

Has anyone recently bought cases that look just like original Apple leather cases? It's really hard to find sellers with real photos of these cases, some of them don't have Apple logo on the back, etc. If you could link it, that would be great.

After buying a couple of these "clones" I've come to terms with that they just aren't the same....Id much rather spend the extra couple bucks and just buy a used genuine apple leather case on eBay...they're literally like $10...well worth it in my eyes.

I have a leather case originally on my 6 plus. I enlarged the camera opening to fit the 7 plus. Only drawback to leather is if it gets wet the phone will be fine but not the case. So far I never dropped it in water.

I'm interested to hear what people think of this new knockoff for the iPhone 7. We know they are not genuine leather as advertised, but maybe they are still nice looking alternatives?

Can I ask what you used to cut the opening and does it look ok after?

A razor blade. It looks ok. Still need a tool smooth the edges. Main thing is it covers the phone. The case is already kinda beat up so I don't care that much how it looks.

I've got the  product Red silicone case from my old 6 plus so might try and cut the camera out of that.
