I'm trying to set up a brand new iPhone 17, and transfer data from an ancient iPhone (first or second generation SE). The estimated time for transfer is 6 days, although it has varied between 4 and 9 days. Any ideas? The old phone only has 128 GB. I'm trying to figure out if I have done something wrong... They are both supposed to be on wi-fi, and I moved them to sit directly next to the router. I don't know if I should quit and start over...

Any ideas???

Do you have a Mac or PC nearby? You could always play the easier route and back up the SE and restore to the 17 using that backup.

I've always used that method, going back to the 3G to 4s days.

BL.

I may need to do that. Sigh. Thanks for the advice. : )
