6 months of Apple Music free for Verizon Unlimited customers

Word of warning for existing Apple Music subscribers: I pay for Apple Music yearly. I figured this would just add on 6 months to that time. when I started the verizon subscription, it took me to Apple Music, which then said I must either cancel my yearly subscription with apple, or the free 6months from Verizon - so looks like I wasted the free 6 months and should have waited until the year long subscription ran out (assuming the offer wills till be available then)

Yeah i don't trust this. Verizon said that if you are on one of the unlimited plans you are good. And you can get the six months free. But i would not put it passed them to mess up my account somehow for signing up for this. I would rather just keep buying itunes gift cards at a discount rather than dealing with Verizon.

how does the Verizon subscription link to your Apple ID/iTunes? I want to make sure it works across all me devices like my HomePod.

Mine isn't functioning any different than it did before switching it to Verizon.

neither is mine. I did just get an email from apple that my music subscription through them will cancel in a few days we will see if there are changes then when I just have Apple Music through Verizon.

yeah I got that too and didn't see any changes when it expired.
