6 or 6S (maybe even 5S), coming from iPhone 5

Back when I purchased the 5 in 2012 I believe I played $730AU and I thought that was a bit expensive, but reasonable.

Now a base model iPhone is just over $1000. I find it impossible to justify that type of purchase on a phone. And I'm an adult on a medium /medium high income.

It's just insane these days. And the monthly plans are over the top. I don't know how young people can afford an iPhone.

I'd rather buy an iPhone 5s (maybe used) and get an ipad air 2 for the price of an iPhone 6s.

I just must be a tightwad.

379€ is fairly low. New 5Ss are still sold at about 550€ at eBay I think. If it's more damaged than I want it to be, I return it and get a like new one for 450€. Or wait for a better deal.
