If you don't see value in any other phone than the 64, than Apple did back them into a wall.

hardly ANYONE is buying the 128's or the 16's.

What happened to the 32? It's not like owning the 6 is going to automatically make you use more space on the phone. All these phones do the same thing.

It's an opportunity to spend less. I'm just saying 16 is perfectly conservative.

I'm just taking what I can get.

It's so hard to find the 128GB model. I think people must be buying them. Also the 16GB is probably the most popular model at least it is in the UK, mainly because it's free on a lot of tarifs.

Um. Yes. The iPhone 6/6+ will use more space than previous iPhones. Better camera = larger file sizes. Larger screen and better resolution = increase in app size to keep up. iOS updates will be bigger on the iPhone 6/6+ because the improved hardware handles more features.

My iPhone 5S had less space with iOS 8.1 than 7.1.2 because new features requires space. So as time goes on the iPhone 6/6+ will use more space. Everything is getting bigger and requires more space.

And again. I already answered what happened to the 32GB. Apple decided to give people 64GB of space at the same price point of 32GB to accommodate more customer's wants and needs. For $199/299 (6/6+) you get 16GB. For $100 more you get 4X the storage. Clearly that's a better deal.

Reading your posts, I'm starting to get a feeling you just like to argue.

I think the worst thing about the whole thing is they created a bottleneck.

64 is sold out. I've already waited 2 months. Every day is precious. I just cut my losses and went for the 16 it serves the same purpose and there is absolutely no loss of functionality for me.

I just saved money.

There's never a problem with going for the lowest priced phone. Blame Apple that it's only 16GB that doesn't concern me. I just got the lowest price there was.

Can't complain about that. People can get by on 16, they just don't want to.

I can also get by with a Blackberry and I'm not going to do that either.

Today while checking in person, a Long Island Apple Store had 6 pluses in all colors; all of them 16 gigs. My 5S is presently beyond 16 gigs, so it was a no-go for me. I used one of the iMacs in the store and ordered a 64 gig 6 plus.

There's a couple of things I'm stopping doing. That's 1. Buying a new iPhone every year and 2. Spending too much on iPhones

Get out of the thread.

A blackberry has nothing to do with the discussion whatsoever.

Yes it does because by your theory you can "get by" with 16gb and it's cheaper and because it's cheaper that's what they should go with. Well they could get a Blackberry or Windows or Android for free and I'm sure we could all "get by" with those if we had to.

But it's not all about what's cheapest and what we absolutely could get by with if we had to. It's also about user experience and having to "get by" sucks and most people won't be happy with that in the long run.

I'll agree to get out of the thread if you do.

I like how you still don't answer to reason. People get higher storage cuz they want to. Same as you wanting to stick with 16 gb. You just said you cut your losses to go with 16 gb, acknowledging that there's a trade off. Some people, actually lots don't mind paying more for extra storage.

Not everyone can get by on 16 gb and it's ignorant of you to think you know everyone's needs.

You waited 2 months for what? You've said you got a 5c locked thru T-Mobile. So what were you waiting for besides your "magical it has to say unlocked by Apple on the box and receipt" iPhone 6? Oh but now you were waiting for a 64 gb iPhone 6 now? Smh.

I can also get by with a Blackberry and I'm not going to do that either.

Lol

I was going to go with the sim free iPhone 6 64. This iPhone release has not been too good.

But many of the devices are sold out and in order to get it before Christmas I had to get the 16. The plus was that I was saving money.

Secondly, a quick assessment of how I actually used my iPhone meant that I didn't need a 32 and definitely don't need a 64.

How do you expect me to fill up 8 gigs of photo & video footage?

Switching in the 64 is something nobody asked for. And switching out the 32 is also something nobody asked for. That's why it seems like the rug was swept from under everyone's feet and you're seeing articles about why no one can really use a 16.

Or maybe it's just because I'd been on the 32 so long I forgot what it was like to have a 16.

But here I am on an 8gb 5c all apps I usually use in place, (and more)

The truth is people actually can use a 16 but they would rather have that extra space. And 64 is A LOT of space.

6 Plus: 16GB for $225 or 64GB for $399?

Just ask your self how much is your peace of mind worth? I did the 64 just so I wouldnt have to manage my gigs as closely and have to decided what I need on my phone vs what I wanted... Now it's all what I want with room to spare. But you guys are right 32 was perfect 16 is kinda cutting it close

Let's talk about the gigabyte inflation. There's only one thing I do differently that allows me to get by.

I'm forced to use cloud services for music. I no longer use iTunes at all.

Whether it's a 32, a 16 or a 64, music is going to take up TONS of space. I had 20GB of music.

That music actually doesn't need to be there. With that philosophy I'm able to use my device much more.

The benefits of the cloud are many. You should never have to sync your phone to get going.

You'll always be limited if you do storage that way.

That's the big thing. That's the difference between you and me.

I don't even recommend that to the common user. But it works for me. It really does. Not everyone can be me.

Hmm 20 gb music you should've got a 64 gb then. Not everyone wants to use cloud services. They're helpful but again you seem to ignore the fact that other people have different needs than you. You sound bitter actually.

This iPhone release has been great like the others before it. Again the 64 is the same price as the 32. Again you ignore all reason and think because you only need 8 or 16 gb that's the case for everyone.

And you waiting for a sim free 64 6 is your own fault. You can only blame yourself. It's funny we've all been enjoying our unlocked iPhones with extra storage (mines 128 gb) yet you bicker about a magical iPhone that you're hoping appears. I hope they don't release a sim free version. However if they did what would u talk about then? Lol

I hope I don't sound bitter. We know the situation it's pretty sad but not for Apple of course. It has been a pretty bad release in terms of people getting iPhones. They were available nowhere. Not in the Apple stores. Not in the carrier stores, you could only order online and wait days. Months went by, no sim free versions. 32 gigabyte disappears. It was pretty bad

If they should've gotten rid of anything it should've been the 16

from my experience

i got the 16gb not realizing i can actually use that much storage. now, that i want to have more memory it's too late because it's way passed the 14 day return/exchange window. just make you life easier and get the 64 because you will never have to worry about your storage space like i'am doing now.

Lol just admit you weren't gonna get a 6 even if they released a sim free on day 1 you wouldn't get one. Yeah they weren't available anywhere. Nobody could get one. Except for the tens of millions who did, and tens of millions still getting them.

Nothing was bad except your judgment.

The 64 isn't available. I'm not waiting. And I'm on an 8gig right now

Just face it, with music in the cloud you pretty much have all the space you'll ever use.

I'm fine with 10 gigs

No. Let's be honest you were never gonna get one. I thought u said u couldn't wait for the 64 so u got a 16 gb? Oh now u have an 8?

More holes than Swiss cheese.

I have an 8gb 5c as my backup phone and a 16 6.

This was after my 32gb 5s was stolen.

It's been a rough year.

I'm not sure how many times I have to say it. Apple gave everyone 32GB more at the same price point as the old 32GB. Why do you keep saying it disappeared as its a bad thing!! They gave everyone double for the same price.

And haven't you considered the fact that everyone is purchasing them so that's why supplies are limited? I don't understand your logic at all. It's all over the place. They are selling as many as they can make and then some. Btw I walked in to an Apple Store at Santa Monica on the Saturday after the launch and picked up a 64GB iPhone 6 without a problem. So they are around, you just need to find it.

And please don't bring in the sim-free discussion from the other thread.

We have 64, but we still need a 32. What are they going to do next year? Replace the 64 for 128 and add 192GB? We have 128 for the same price.

No. It's time to downgrade.

You just made that up huh, 192 gb. Time to downgrade? What does it matter to u since u guess 8 or 16 gb is good enough for u.

16GB on my iPhone 5 was storage hell. I had to unload photos once a week to my rMBP/iMac, and I often could not take a video using the camera due to lack of storage.

Never again. 64GB all the way. Can't go with anything less. 16GB models don't exist to me.

I have a question. If you stream from the clouds aren't you using your data to do so? I guess it depends on your plan and how much music you stream. I guess i prefer to have my music on my phone seems like I get a poor connection at the gym.

Yup. I have unlimited data but that doesn't mean I want to use cloud for everything. I have a 128 gb 6.

We all know he's trolling and he's probably making up half of his story but it's entertaining.
