I just received my 6 plus from Verizon yesterday and I have a question about the lock button.

The button doesn't protrude from the case as much as the volume buttons do. It is more flush with the edge.

Is this by design or a flaw? I normally wouldn't care about something so small, but I had the same problem with my 4s and the button eventually stopped working.

All the button should be the same. Mine is not flush with the case of the phone.

Elaborate...

I am thinking he mean if it still works and only does not stick out quite as far there is nothing wrong with it.

Seeing it is new the owner has the right to return it even if it just does not smell right. I have had a 6 and 6+ from day one and have never even looked to make sure all my buttons stick out exactly the same.

It's normal. The lock button on the right side is more flush than the volume rockers on the left. Gives the appearance of nothing visible on the right side.

Flaw is volume up button sitting higher than the down button on a brand new six plus I bought a few weeks ago. Apple qc is a bit of a joke at these extreme volumes they're pumping out. Millions of devices.
