I got my 6 Plus in December 2014 and the WiFi was working great at home. I connect to 5Ghz network and no zero "spots" at home. I use Time Capsule and there has been no changes to the network settings.

Fast forward - a couple of weeks ago the Wifi suddenly acting up. I can see full bar but ANYTHING that requires network connection will stall - Safari, Mail, 3rd party apps, etc. This is very intermittent: sometimes I got awesome connection, but most of the time I got nothing.

If I turned off WiFi and switched immediately to LTE, everything came back alive! Fast browsing, great speed, etc.

I tried resetting the network setting in the iPhone, reboot the iPhone, reboot the Time Capsule and router and it doesn't do anything.

    Is my WiFi chip broken?

Is your "router" a different device from your Time Capsule and do you have the TC in bridge mode?

No, the Time Capsule also act as the router. It's connected to AT&T U-Verse modem. This config work so far with my other Apple devices: MacBooks, iPhone 5S & 6, Windows machines, etc.

I just tried changing the channel for the 5Ghz network, no go. :(

Update: after upgrading to 8.4, the problem seems to go away. So maybe this is limited to 8.3?

I actually have that problem with ATT uverse with my tc as the router and uverse set to bridge mode. It does happen to all of my devices and seems to have slow points. I have tried to change channels and it didn't
Seem to help. It almost seems like it fixes itself as fast as it causes a problem but it's getting annoying.

That's interesting. I setup the U-Verse modem/router to have DMZ for the TC. Otherwise, I had issues because of the double NAT-ing.

Interesting, no issue with all of my other network devices, Apple or not except the 6+.

Same here. All other devices have zero issues. Including Apple TV and three iPads.

Interesting...I'll try to DMZ to the TC and see if I have better luck.

I actually followed this thread and I could notice an immediate speed increase. The crazy thing is the u-verse router by itself was making everything super slow - after following through everything, i'd venture to say it's firewall was doing stupid things.
