Perhaps you just got lucky.

The 128gb 6 + longer delay might have something to do with replacing the memory with MLC from the potential TLC problem memory that's recently come to light . If the 64gb straight 6 has a longer delay than other straight 6's then this is probably the case.

As regards to resale then nothing will change as with previous years HOWEVER!! ... The phone that might suffer this time is the less favourable 16gb models. In previous years this was an acceptable volume but Apple have really stretched things this time purely for tacticle profit gains in my opinion. In previous years resale value had little gain with higher volume storage phones compared to 16gb so if you wanted to lose the least amount in depreciation then you would go for 16gb . I'll be interested to see what happens this time next year and if the 16gb suffers for the first time.
 
One other thing ....

No matter whether you have a A1 condition iPhone or a £uckd iPhone you will still get a good resale value compared to other brands. Anything Apple = hypnotic sheep !! I'm actually amazed how much knackered iPhones still demand in resale value.
