6/+ Space Gray is actually darker?

I was debating about whether to get a silver or space gray 6, looking through all the images on Apple's website, when I noticed that the 360º preview of the space gray's back is noticeably darker (especially the bands) than the other promo images seem to suggest:

If this is the case, then I'm definitely getting silver. Does anyone else think this is weird?

I wouldn't put too much stock in this. Promo images, and likely the 360 images are heavily doctored, if they are even all authentic (as opposed to completely CG, which wouldn't be surprising).

It is an interesting observation. We need to find a few hands-on videos on other sites to see if it was captured in a decent light so we can tell the exact shade of it.

it's probably the same shade as the iPad mini
