I was gutted to receive an email from apple today stating that the new estimated delivery date for my 13" rMbp (with maxed out upgrades) which I ordered from the education store on Nov 11th was now the 17th December. Given that I was originally stated a delivery time of 4-6 days this seems utterly ridiculous. What if they extend the delivery date even further into the new year? I need this machine urgently for work! Is there anything I can do to help (complain, get freebies, etc?) Is this anything to do with hardware issues relating to the trackpad freezes or something else? Cheers!
