Actually, it's all a big misunderstanding. The young lad in question overheard his parents saying that they'd like to have a cock on the roof and he misinterpreted what they were after...

Of all the cockamamie things kids do these days...it's impressive this guy had the balls to go through with it.

I hope the roof holds up otherwise there would be a gaping hole.

That happened at my HS. The traffic helicopter noticed it and called it in.
i wish i still had the picture.

Senior Prank at the local high school, it took a couple of months until a newscopter finally discovered it though. (With that being said, I do not attend this school)

I was painting my grandmother's old fixer upper in the mid-'90s with my friend and across a 20 ft. diagonal he painted, "Metallica lives here" in white paint on a black flat roof. Years later the house sold. He painted it on two lines so it could be seen from a helicopter or low flying airplane.

It's not as shocking as the OP's picture, but it had the full effect of using a decent rendition of their classic lightning bolt logo.

Metallica does not live in a small fixer upper and probably lived in the city or north of it in Marin County in Mansions. :)
