Hi all

I have phllips powerbank like this.

• Type-C input : DC 5V/2A,9V/2A,12V/1.5A

• Type-C output : DC 5V/2A,9V/2A,12V/1.5A

Why I can't charging the powerbank using 61 watt adapter for MacBook Pro ?

Does the adapter can't use to charging powerbank ?

Thank

If your 61W charger is model A1718, it may not have the USB Power Delivery profile @ 2A that the Philips is expecting.

However, if you have model A1947, it should work.

As I expected.. the A1718 won't work. Per the specs you quoted for the Philips, it needs:

  • DC 5V/2A, 9V/2A, 12V/1.5A
The A1718 only outputs:
  • DC 20.3V/3A, 9V/3A, 5.2V/2.4A

The A1947 does support 9V/2A

Thank for your help.
