MacRumors Hires First Employee

Hey guys,

So on Jan 1, MacRumors hired its first full time employee (besides myself). Eric Slivka (aka WildCowboy) started yesterday as editor/writer/manager and whatever else we can come up for him to do.

Eric's been with MacRumors for some time already as a forum member, moderator and then administrator. He's intimately familiar with the site and understands our approach to news and rumors.

Overall, it will strengthen the site and also free up some of time to do some other needed site improvements/upgrades.

Thanks, folks. I'm really looking forward to helping keep MacRumors at the top of the heap when it comes to Apple rumors and news. It will be nice to be able to free arn up a bit to make some improvements both here and in his growing networking of sites. That, and he'll be able to get more than an hour or two of sleep per night...though I doubt he'll take much advantage of that luxury.
