Hi guys,

I was wondering for those of you that have an iPhone 6S, should I get a 64 GB or 128 GB iPhone 6S Plus? I have Apple Music so all of my music is in the iCloud Library, therefore it is not stored locally. I do take tons of photos as I am a photographer, but I don't really record too much video. I typically have 30-50 apps on my phone. Do you think I would be fine with the 64 GB or should I go with the 128 GB?

It sounds like 64 GB should be fine. With your current usage, how much space are you taking up on the phone you have now?

Nobody can tell you for sure, but it never hurts to get more than you need. People don't usually complain about having too much storage. It sounds like you're fine with the 64gb version, as I have around 50 apps on my 16gb iphone.

I chose the 128gb model so I can comfortably live on a dirt cheap sim only mobile plan and no need to use any mobile data for my music collection. I don't shoot heaps of photo and video. The choice I wrestled with was spending more money upfront maxing out my iPhone storage, or spend a lot more after 12-24 months of much costlier cellular service. I have to say I'm very happy having all my Apple Music stored on device, and never having playback pause when I hit a mobile dead zone.

On my 64 GB, I have 253 songs, 1284 photos, 94 videos, and 59 applications installed with 36.6 GB of free storage available. Maybe this may help you compare with your own use case.

Looks like 64GB (actually 55GB) should be enough for you but a getting a 128GB will will ease your mind so much you can install apps, load offline music if you want to, even take alot pics and video without thinking twice about the free space.

I went from a 16GB to a 128GB and never been happier and I have alot of music on my phone.

sounds very similar to my situation, except I'm not a photographer but I have a 2 year old so I probably have as many pictures as a photographer lol.... Anyway 64gb works great for me, I even have a few full length movies on infuse at all times and still have about 20+gb of free space
