I have a MacBook. WHen installing Windows through Parallels or boot camp, should I use the 64bit version?
No. Core Duo is not a 64-bit chip. Even if it was, Windows XP 64-bit edition is a complete waste of time. Don't ever use it, ever.

Even when the MacBooks go Core 2 Duo, 64-bit Windows is only useful if you're running a big SQL database or the like, which is unlikely on a laptop. There's also a big hole in the numbers of available drivers. Go with ordinary Windows. You'll thank yourself.
