What is the fastest/cheapest/most reliable SSD available?

I have found a crucial M4 for £75 UK.

Any similar sizes that are cheaper/faster/as reliable.

Obvioulsy i will need a transfer cable to copy accross the data. Which cable do i need to buy. If i buy it as part of a kit it costs £100 in tota. £25 for a cable seems expensive.

Any help appreciated.

An external USB 2.0 enclosure will suffice.

Or do you mean something else entirely? Then you may be a bit more specific.

Anyway, I have a 60 GB Vertex 2 SSD in my 2007 iMac and a 120 GB Vertex 3 SSD in my 2009 MBP, both Macs have S-ATA 3.0 Gbps (S-ATA II) as interface. Do you look for S-ATA 3.0 Gbps (S-ATA II) or S-ATA 6.0 Gbps (S-ATA III) SSDs?

Sorry should of been more clear.

Im looking for SATA III 6GB as i have a 2011 Mini.

I just need a cable or something to plug the drive in with so i can clone the existing HD to it before i open it up and do heart surgery.

Then such USB enclosure I spoke earlier of (and in another thread of yours) will do just fine.
