Why did it need 32GB? Why 16? Or 8? Or 4?Why would a watch need 64GB? What’s next 128GB?
Obviously anything older than 32GB is useless in this day and age.Why did it need 32GB? Why 16? Or 8? Or 4?
I think you already can download maps.No idea what’s in their pipeline, but I do agree with the others, there are probably some things coming (like downloading maps) that would make extra storage space useful & extend the useful life of the watch. I have 32 GB on my Series 7 & I only have around 5 left.
You completely missed the point. These device get increasing storage capacities over time becauseObviously anything older than 32GB is useless in this day and age.
True. Watch series 9 is great for version 10 but version 15 it may not be. I remember back in 2018 it cost me a bit to get a 64GB SD card but these days it’s peanuts. You completely missed the point. These device get increasing storage capacities over time because
a) tech moves forward and increase capacities become the norm, and
b) they need more storage capacity to store more things (music, podcasts, apps, maps, health data, etc).
It's like asking why anyone would need a faster CPU than the ones we have now.
That could be. I have no idea, but it makes sense if you can. Especially for the ultra.I think you already can download maps.
My MacBook air 15 inch has 620GB free.Don't know specifically about the watch, but nowadays software updates use up a ton of memory during installation.
A have a Windows laptop with 32 GB of disk space and I can't update it any more. It's a paperweight.
Honestly it's mostly for offline music storage. Why would a watch need 64GB? What’s next 128GB?
It is useful to presave music on the watch also if you don’t want to drain the battery very fast… a workout with cellular music streaming lasts no more than 90 min from full new battery. If you don’t have cellular, you can put your music collection on your watch. Handy if you don’t want to run with your phone.
