Is it me or does apple take forever to ship out their notebooks? Ordered my 17" april 10th w/ an estimated 1-3 day shipping. Still havn't received it yet. It's a CTO by the way.
 
wow! i dont what i would do... 17 days! im really impatient and couldnt stand to wait that long, ida called apple by now and ask whats going on, i cant imagine what would take them so long.

hope it get there soon for ya
 
I ordered one last week....it was shipped within two days of my ordering...and it came from shanghai china...i just got it today
 
No tracking number yet, just the order receipt via email.

You might want to give them a call and find out what is going on. It should not take that long at this point.
 
I ordered my 2.66Ghz with 320G 7200rpm glossy. It took about 3 days to ship. (ordered late on a Saturday night) From ordering on-line to in my hands in 5 days.

Shipped from Shanghai through Anchorage, to Indianapolis, to San Diego in 1 day. In my hands in Oceanside, Ca. the day after that.

you should have called earlier instead of waiting 17 days! I would have called them after 4 heh :p

Anyways, my experience ordering the CTO 15" was I received it in one week. It did take 3 days to ship though
 
My 17" CTO took over two weeks to come. My friend ordered a 15" CTO on the same day and his took about a week.

This is pure speculation, but the 17" is something of a niche product and I expect they sell way more 15"s. So with less 17"s coming off the production line, you have to wait longer.

Worth the wait though! :apple:
 
OK spoke to a rep and she said it should be shipping this week, so I should be expecting it sometime next week. That's a month from order date to delivery.
 
imma tell you like this its well worth the wait my dude. it will get there and when it does you might wanna have sex with it. hahahaha nah im j/k...but im really not :(. nah but all jokes aside once you get your new mail order bride in the mail you will forget all waiting you had to do.

Mine was a 2.93 base config and I got it in my hands in 5 days.
 
One of my coworkers got his UMBP 17" delivered to New York city in a little over a week. It was the base configuration.
