6gb in 2008 3.06 imac

Hi, Is anyone out there planning on maxing out there 2008 3.06 imacs with 6GB orf 800mhz DDR2 ram, in the same way as another poster uses 6GB in their 2.8.

In fact - would it work with the 3.06 machine?

I also bought this imac and would like to know if I can in fact use 6GB of RAM and which ones should I get, if the 2GB 667 MHz + 4GB 667 kit or the 2GB 800 MHz + 4GB 800 kit. Thank you to the people that know this answer.
