Hey everyone,
with the new 6S or 6S plus rumored to have 4K video recording capability, I'm wondering if it could be 30fps 4K or possibly 60fps 4K with a 1080p 120 fps mode? With the A9 I'm hopeful for 60fps 4K :)

I'm also hoping for larger pixels and better overall performance.

What do you think the updates to cameras will be?

My GoPro Hero 4 Black heats up like nobody's business when recording at 4K 30fps. I doubt the phone will get 4K 60fps.

Interesting. Still better quality 1080p with better pixels and and lens would improve the video I would assume?
I've read that the a8/a8x can decode and play 4K somewhere.

I too highly doubt 4K video recording for the iPhone 6S sadly. Why bother too, when the screen is only 720p? If there will be 4K available, that's an auto-confirm for a 32GB base model, of which I'm certainly hoping for.

I doubt we'll see 4k at all on the 6S definitely not at 60fps. What would that be with h264? 70-100 mbps?

Heat will be too problematic for anything more than 10 minutes. But I do think that we'll see it b/c there are already apps on the appstore that allow 4k for the iphone 6. Their quality I can not attest to, but on Android phones 4k in what I'd deem pretty nice quality has been possible for two years. It's a definite upgrade.

I do not think that Apple has access to some special sensors or tech that no one else has regarding image quality, so that leaves software processing. How far can software processing improve things I am skeptical at this point since everyone's been playing the same game for a long time now. The S6 and the G4 have passed the iPhone 6 in terms of image quality because they start with better sensors.

The 6s needs to better than any of the Android phones today else it could be problematic. I believe lots of people stick with the iPhone for the camera quality.

Apple is always a couple years late to the game when it comes to resolution on screens or videos. My guess is we won't see 4k until Apple gives us 32 GB of storage and 4k TVs and monitors become more widespread.

i think 4k video is good too , i can record video and edit via imovie , very like imovie apps last used , better than movie maker on pc

thanks apple-
