6s Brown Leather Case is Different than 6 Case

My iPhone 6s leather cases arrived today and I was surprised to see the color on the plain brown 6s is very different than last years brown on the 6 case. It really looks more beige than brown. Apple should have changed the name of the color to prevent any confusion. Here it is compared to the new saddle brown and black. Also, I don't have the 6 brown leather case in front of me, but I included a photo of it for comparison.

I think it's a better looking brown compared to last years model. it looks aged a bit. last year was just....brown. not much character to it and looked like s*&t. partial to my current saddle brown case, I really like the color of it.

To be honest, there are much better looking leather cases on ebay, and for a quarter of the price of those.

Really? I knew the added Saddle Brown, but I wasn't aware of the plain brown changing as well.

Apple seem to have refined their colour palette and I love it! The colours are darker and more pastel like.

Makes sense since last year's was named olive brown and now its just brown. Would suggest a slight change to the color.

Is the leather used in the 6s case the same as the ones used for 6 or 5s? Debating whether to put leather cream or protector on it....
