looking for simple and thin leather/wood case for new 6s. Have looked at Sena and Jack Spade and Jcrew but was curious if anyone had any suggestions outside of those options.
    thanks,

The old iPhone 6 Leather Case is perfect. Thinner than the new one, and better quality/fit.

I just picked up a Bellroy leather case. I was never a fan of the Apple cases and the aniline leather they use. I have no idea how the Bellroy case is going to wear but it is a very nice case and is extremely thin.

Does the leather cover the entire case. Can you post some close up pix of the case

Actually the case is a mix of leather (back) and colored polycarbonate sides. The transition from leather to the polycarbonate is only noticeable by a seam that runs along the back of the case. Overall it looks very classy. As you can see below, its It's just like the Apple case (a snap on), that covers 3 sides of the phone leaving the bottom open for jacks, plugs, docks, etc.

How thin would you say the bellroy case is compared to the apple leather case? Is it a little thicker or just as thin?

Having both the Apple Leather and Silicone cases, the Bellroy feels slimmer in the hands than either of the Apple cases.

That case looks beautiful! I've been looking for other options than the Apple leather 6s case because I heard its slippery and more bulky than the 6 version. Anyway, does it have a slight lip over the screen? It's hard for me to tell from the photo. Is it slippery at all?

I have the older Apple black leather case and I like it except it develops a grip on the left and right side. I need to heat it up every so often with a blow dryer to make it smooth again.

The bellroy looks pretty cool except don't like how the leather does not wrap all the way on the sides.

The only leather case worthwhile is the Apple one in my opinion.

There is a slight lip which allows lay-on-table. As for being slippery, it was for the first day but has gotten much better over a day or two of use.

Thanks for your review on this! I had been using the same blue Apple leather case for my 6 Plus and now 6S Plus. Thought it was time to get a new case. Really enjoying the Bellroy case a lot! So thanks for the review!

Is it actually thinner than the Apple silicone case?
