64gb Verizon 6S just turned 2 years old. was working 100% fine and then on Monday Night Just shut off and won't turn back on. Apple store says its a bad logic board and nothing they can do but offer a $300 replacement. Said no known cause for the failure- no water damage or other damage present.

Never heard of this happening and wanted to see if this has been experienced by others or is this something Apple should be helping me out with?

Only other thing to mention is that Apple replaced the battery in December 2016 under the replacement program.

thanks!

I would Contact Apple and see what your options are. I would explain your situation and they will have your battery history replacement on file. Perhaps they can work something out with you and or issue a possible replacement device.

the Response I'm getting is Tough Luck, we only cover you for a year. Anything after 1 year is on you.
I love all my apple products but My iPad Air is running like crap since IOS 11 (upgrading was a mistake) and then the IPhone just died out of nowhere. I understand they don't HAVE to help me but I used to hear stories of Apple going out of their way so I was really hoping they would.

Apple going out of their way is really more of a case by case basis. It’s never a blanket rule across the company.
