iPhone 6(S)/Plus 6S Plus battery life better than my 7+

Not sure how this works, My son bought a 6S+ of eBay, now you know what teens are like, he uses his more than I use my 7+ but his battery lasts him a good day and a half, I have to charge mine every night. His health is 83% mine is 85%

I think I read the 6s+ has battery battery life than the 7+ and 8+ is this correct?

I’d replace both of those batteries soon and go from there.
