It seems that the issue became less of an issue having used the 6S over the weekend. I could still see it at the top but the side issue had disappeared somewhat. I put the phone on highest brightness for most of my use.

However I'm not risking it and have a replacement arriving tomorrow. Last thing I want is to get out of warranty and then it flare up again.
what type of replacement did you order? exchange for new device or warranty replace?

Ok, I have the same issue, on my first 6s plus order (one month ago), replaced it (few weeks ago), got the same issue (different places). Today, I went to the store and validated that they all have similar shadows especially at the top of the screen.

Even the Apple Store employee personal iPhone 6s Plushad the same issue.

I think this is a design more than a "batch" issue. It seems that the screen layers have some spacing that did not used to be there in the 6.

To bad, I wanted to have a 6s plus, but I will stick around with my 6plus which as razor sharp edges.

So! Picked up my iPhone 6S 64GB today and it appears my screen has a shadow on it. Has this been an issue before, and has anyone else found they have this?

Am I being pedantic? It's quite noticeable when scrolling on a white screen (Calendar, Settings, Notes...). It's only slightly noticeable on non-plain white screens.

I'll probably swap it at an Apple Store. Premium product, should be perfect, etc. etc.
