iPad mini 6th Gen iPad Mini: to 27, or not to 27?

I have a Gen.6 Mini. It's definitely showing its age, esp. the battery life.

Has anyone installed 27 on a 6th Gen Mini, and is it advisable to do so, or not?

Is the overall performance & batterylife any better / worse than iOS 18?

True, but I mean the final public version is coming Monday, so that's what I'd install.
Not the current beta.....

If you are on 26 it's totally worth it, if you are on 18, the difference will probably not be huge, but long term it's definitely worth it. I'll be installing it on mine on Monday once it's released
