Sounds like the same one I bought 3 weeks ago from handygear. It was junk and a horrible copy, ended up sending it back for a refund (to china). Seller was professional about it.
Ended up buying a "cant tell the difference from new" OEM link bracelet for $100.
Oh no.. it is the one. Mine will arrive next week. I would love to know the refund process works and how much you paid for the shipping back. Thanks much in advance!
You just go through ebay for the refund. The seller will refund you $6.04 to ship it back to China and you have to ship it in a small padded envelope using First Class International Mail. I didnt put anything in the envelope to protect the band, just the padding that was built in. He will give you instructions if you ask. Like I said, he was professional and did not give a hard time about the return. That could be because I returned it as defective since the clasp broke within 2 days as opposed to buyers remorse.
I also bought the "perfect copy" link bracelet, but it wouldnt lock into the watch. I returned that one also. It was literally the best replica and night and day vs the handygear one, but after all the trouble with the replicas....it was so worth it for a few bucks more to get the Apple OEM one.

Thank you for your helpful response. I should have known. I saw several generations from the seller's site, but I picked the 6th since it had the highest rating, no negative feedback. I did not even bother asking why there was a 7th generation that had some bad comments. Any recommendation for OEM seller on ebay? I checked some of them and they seem to have awful scratches.

This is the exact one I bought. The photo is a stock photo and a horrible one at that, but even his description says no scratches and thats exactly what I got, it was perfect. His packaging was less than desired with tape and a paper towel lol, but for the price and what I got, NO complaints and new condition. He has 38mm as well. I wish he had black ones.

Thank you so much. I just bought it from that seller you recommended!!! I guess I will have to see if I like the replica one. Both will arrive next week. I will let you know how it goes. For sure I want to keep the OEM one. If the replica one is bad I will return it. If not I may give it away.

If it wasnt for Ebays buyer protection, I never would have taken the chance, but Im glad I did. Hope you like the OEM one, for the price, its hard to pass up.
My 49.99 band arrived and I loved it. I had no issue with it at all. A few days later, the OEM band arrived. It was in a great condition for the price! I just gave the replica to my spouse and I am wearing the OEM one. Honestly, I like the claps of the 6th Gen better. I also notice that the OEM is more prone to scratches. Perhaps the Chinese keep improving the quality over the year (hence 6th generation - Kaizen concept?). You had a different experience so maybe the replica bands are not consistent?
Anyway, I am happy with the OEM recommendation. Thank you again for that.
