All iPads 7.0.3 breaks camera connection kit

On mini and iPad 4 when trying to connect the official apple USB adaptor, without a thing plugged in or with a camera or iPhone

The following appears, can anyone else confirm?

Just tested the Lightning to USB adapter on my iPad 4 and iPhone 5 both running 7.0.3. Worked fine, no error message.

Not working here on my iPhone 5s... Maybe bc it's a Space Gray and not Gold... 🙁

I think it worked on my iPad mini, but can't test now as I sold it...
