So, I got an iPhone 4. Geeksn0w released a semi-tethered jailbreak for iOS 7.1.1 only for the iPhone 4. I'm just wondering if this is reliable. Obviously, the tethered is not a pro, but I really miss my jailbreak.

Has anyone used Geeksn0w and jailbroken their 7.1.1 iPhone 4? I haven't heard much news on it recently.

Thanks

yes it works, but there aren't many tweaks that work with 7.1.1, so you wouldt be able to get much from cydia anyways.

well, this doesn't help me. guess I'm stuck jailbrokeless for now. I haven't read one single good thing about it. I'll pass on the possiblity of a bricked or virus on my phone. thanks guys, case closed.

How does that not help? did you read it at all? its been confirmed working

I would stay away from it till Saurik or someone else at his level makes a comment about it.

You can never trust these jailbreaks too much.

And theres also been tons of possible malware with the program.

It doesn't help the fact that many people commented about the viruses with the download, or my 7.1.1 jailbreaking need.
