I also got this "issue?" with my iPhone 5S after skiing. I think there's just a problem with the algorithm that calculate the %. It gives a certain low % when the iPhone is cold (thinking there's no juice) but when it warms up it actually has more battery than it think so the 1-2% stays a lot longer. I was under 7.1b2 when it happened. I think by restarting the iPhone the % will be recalculated accordingly to the temp.

I shut off 99% of all system services and background applications. Battery life is better on 7.1b2. Does not approach IOS 6 life (same phone).

This seems to be a OS issue related specifically to phones. My iPad air gets great battery life on 7.0.3

This is the craziest battery I've seen on my iPad yet. 1st gen mini, 7.0.4

mine barely lasts 8 hours but i'm also on it all the time so i am not surprised. one time i had to take my iPhone 5 to the Apple Store and the Genius was like "18 hours of usage in the last 24 hours??? WHAT R U DOING?" - WhatsApp, Facebook, Twitter, Viber :D
