Just wondered on peoples thoughts on when the next version of 7.1 will be released, being as it is nearly 2 weeks since the last beta, I would say that it will be soon. :)

I guess we shall find out in ten minutes. It will most likely be today or tomorrow. Honestly whatever beta is next will be the last in my opinion. Beta 4 is very very stable.

eh, on my 4S I actually feel like beta 3 was more stable. 4 is faster overall, but I'm getting a lot more freezes and crashes.

It wouldn't surprise me if the next beta was actually the GM edition, as said before B4 is running very stable on both my i5 and my iPad2.

I wish they would realease today beta 5 or GM whatever and public release on february 7th because can't stand safari crashing on iPad air and 5S

I'm guessing beta 5 then GM. I still have issues when on cellular data the whole OS is choppier and not as smooth as off data for some reason.

I highly doubt it's gonna be a March release. My guess is in the next couple weeks. All this march crap is coming from boy genius report which has a good but not great track record for things.

It is like a completely different tablet, runs like a champ and no issues, much much better over 7.0.4
I tend to agree. It is for the most part, a night and day difference for me on my iPad 2. There are a few minor, minor bugs but overall, it's a very pleasant experience for a device of this age.

On the iPad 2 has blur effect been enabled in control center? Spotlight has it but not CC. :)

I believe I already replied to this but yes, CC has a blur effect but it's not as pronounced as Spotlight, it's more opaque. I should add that it's more opaque because of the dock underneath.

CC has blur effect on iPad 2? Really? on iPad 3 it is all opaque no blur at all....
Yes as I can clearly see the dock and icons underneath it when it (CC) is present. However, as I stated above, it's more opaque than Spotlight.

EDIT: Let me correct that - if you're referring to the frosted blur like on the iPhone 5S, no it's not like that.

Shucks, that's what I was hoping for like on the iPad 4/Air/rMini

Still do no understand the reason for disabling frosted blur on iPad 2 and iPad 3. iPad 2 gets exactly same chips with iPad mini and iPod Touch 5G, yet iPad mini and iPod Touch 5G gets all the effect. iPad 3's A5X gets exactly same processor but better graphic card, so it should get full effect as well
