Hey, How is everyone who has 7.1 liking it? Do you think it is worth it to upgrade to 7.0.4 at this time? Let me know your thoughts, Thanks!

They sped up animations and I haven't had a single springboard crash yet. It's a good upgrade.

I had my first springboard crash today ... besides that it is a must have update for iPhone 5S users. It fixes iTunes Radio crashes and animations are much faster and smoother.

Not for me. I'm JB on 7.0.4 and staying away from 7.1 till there's a JB for its.
But for others that are stock I don't see why not go up to the latest version.
how long till they get a JB for 7.1 do you think?

No JB here. I prefer 7.1 over 7.0.x. More stable, faster, and apps seem to refresh when reopening them a little less.

My iPhone 5S is on jailbroken 7.0.4 (with SSL patch from Cydia) however my iPad 4 is on 7.1 now. The iPad did crash and go into recovery mode for whatever reason after a few days of use, however a second restore seems to have done the trick and I don't regret giving up the jailbreak on my iPad for the improvements of 7.1. 7.0.x had too many little annoyances on the iPad, iPhone not so much.

thanks for the input, but I just upgraded to 7.1. No turning back now, I can live a few months without JB since I just got the phone.

7.1 is better than 7.0.4 for stability, although still nowhere near 100% stable.
7.0.4 returns a slightly better battery life and has a better UI when it comes to animations in the weather app if you want parallax off. It also allows full screen contact pics in the phone app.

Why do you have 7.0.4? You should at least have 7.0.6.

Those who are jailbroken and missed the window for the 7.0.6 security update can apply a patch through Cydia that plugs the same hole (I don't recommend applying it, I DEMAND you apply it for your own good).

Add http://rpetri.ch/repo/‎ to your Sources and then search for SSL, the fix should pop up. Note that this fix will not work in safe mode, however this shouldn't really be an issue anyway.

yup same here but got a feeling we'll be 7.0.x until ios8 though since a 7.1 jailbreak seems unlikely at this point

yea but that's still not as guaranteed as the 7.0.6. update

I'm still on 7.0.4 on my Retina mini and Air but I've been thinking of upgrading the air to the latest just to be able to see the bug fixes.

Both iPads are Jailbroken and so is my 5S which is also 7.0.4.
