Mine says the same too. Missed connecting flight now says Saturday Delivery. However I originally had Monday 7th for expected delivery. So they now bumped me up to Sat delivery because of missing connection?

I can't even begin to explain my disappointment when I saw this... Mine says Being held in UPS facility/Saturday delivery. I assume they are holding it for the weekend. I highly doubt we get our phones on Saturday.

Anyone else have more information than what we are being provided?

Is it just me or are there no UPS departing flights from Incheon any time today or tomorrow?????

It seems that UPS doesn't usually publish their flight schedules ahead of time, maybe for security reasons?

My phone is sitting in Korea and I have an expected delivery date of Monday, so I suspect there will be a flight out of there either tomorrow or Sunday.

My Gold iPhone is stuck in Korea. When my Grey one arrived in Korea it shipped out just hours later.

I'm in the same boat. I've been patient thus far, but if my phone sits in Korea for almost 4 days over the weekend I will be contacting Apple.

1. Your iPhone is not the only one sitting in Korea. Mine is too.

2. You have a delivery date, right? If UPS moves the delivery date, then call UPS and complain. Then call Apple and ask them to stop using UPS. Otherwise, sit tight ...... you will get your iPhone .... and thank whoever that you aren't in the "October" or "November" group.

This too. Mine is also in Korea.

I'm in the exact situation, where my phone missed the flight. It's now scheduled for Sat delivery. I contacted UPS and they confirmed Sat delivery. I'm actually happy because my original delivery estimate was Monday. I'm actually getting my iPhone sooner.:D

Just a heads up-- ordered a 64gb gold unlocked @ 12:31am PST on the 20th, landed in the "October" group (after the 7-10 group). Officially preparing for shipment now. Hope that means the rest of this group is taken care of quickly.

I'm beginning to think I should have stuck with gold, because they probably cut back on production of the other two colors to work on gold.

Oh Apple, smh, they should not have put the focus on the 5c, whoever is responsible for that one should be fired! Just my 2 cents.

because 10/3 is not 10/4?
(e.g. yours did not ship out the same date as that poster if you look, um, close enough to see that small difference) :)

I reckon at least half of the production line at Foxconn is Gold iPhone 5S's. The 5C delivery estimate is "Within 24hrs" which suggests that are plenty of 5C units available, so therefore more focus will be on the 5S. I think another 3-4 million 5S need to be produced for Apple to keep up on the online orders. It is also estimated the Foxconn produced 80,000 5S units a day, which includes different colour and storage combinations.

Which time zone is Apple counting orders in? 12:31 PST is essentially 3:31 EST... so?

I don't think it matters what time zone, per se. The relevant bit of info is that it was ordered 31 minutes after the launch (which was 3am EST / 12am PST).

That was the thing that confused me. Wasn't sure if it was midnight in each respective time zone, or only midnight in PST. So officially the website went live at 12:00 PST?

I don't know about that. People who ordered silver much later in the day on launch day have theirs, I believe (gold is the most backed up). All of them are a bit backordered now, though, and to be honest, at this point I'm sure Apple is adjusting production in accordance with demand for each color. Silver is also easier to find locally, from what i've seen (gray being the easiest to find.)

When did you order? And did you order from Apple.com, then?

Yep. Technically I ordered at 1:31pm MDT (Mountain Daylight Time)-- store went up at 1am my time, which is 12am in California (Pacific).
