ust received my 7+ JB, gorgeous phone.

However, after trying on 3 separate tempered glass screen protectors (cheap China non branded ones), everyone one of them lifts up at the top right hand corner of the screen (not the usual lifting, huge area).

Any possibility that my screen is actually uneven? I can't see the difference with the naked eye.

For now, I am stuck with using normal film screen protectors.

Anybody else with such an experience, pls share. I am not too keen on returning to Apple and waiting for a replacement, considering I've waited for this one for nearly 3 weeks!!!

Mine is uneven as well. Have a Genius Bar appointment to have them check it out. 7+ JB.

I thought mine was, had same issue with screen protectors. But then had same screen protector installed at the mall, and it worked perfect. So user error in my case.

But it does happen, Apple will take care of you.

Maybe it's not the phone but rather the cheap China non-brand versions instead. Try getting the 'Puregear' brand version. I usually use those and it works great.

This was an issue with the iPhone 6s and the halo effect. This was because some screens buldged out in the center more than the edges. Apple ultimately fixed this after a couple months of production. OP it's possible you just got a defect but it's also possible you got some defective screen protectors. Check out Anker glass guard on Amazon. They are cheap but are good quality.

Thank you all for the replies.

May try out a better quality glass screen protector and see if it works.

If not, will make an appointment at the Genius Bar.

Was wondering if they could just open it up, push the screen outwards slightly and solve my problem? Hehe wishful thinking.

It's easy to find out, just put the phone face down on a flat surface and tap around the edges. If it has the bulge you will notice.
