#6 is my favorite
And the Digg link: http://digg.com/apple/The_7_Slickest_Mac_Setups
I knew that name looked familiar!@
#6 is pretty damn slick.
The problem with those setups (some of them, anyway) is that the displays are too high up... they're not very ergonomic.
If I had an ACD, I would recreate that one setup from I, Robot. The one at Alfred Lanning's home. I thought that was pretty stylish. I'll post a picture later maybe.
#2 looks very 'cold'.
#6's warm and the closest to my own setup... though a lot cleaner.
number 3 looks the most futuristic
#3 looks great with that ACD in the wall, although there is a tad to much metal in their diet
#6 has to be me favourite, hide a few of the cables and it would be amazing
Hmmm why didnt mine make it?
2 is all awesome-like, 3 is too, and 6 has cool lighting.
i love 3...6 is great too...heck they're all great b/c they're macs :0
do you know of any other sites listing mac setups? i'm desperate to find a good solution for my gear (2 macs, various related hardware)..it's almost like i need a consultant to help me figure out what i need
all nice except for 5 and 7. they're mediocre to me.
I like #2 and #5 best. They're the cleanest, has an ACD, and looks cool!
Nothing special... I think iGary has a better set up than that
Yes, maybe technically better, but not sweeter looking. That is what this thread is about. "Sweet Apple set-ups".
I agree....iGary has a wonderful setup....he should have made that list.
#3 and #6 were my favorite ones.
ditto..that is fantastic! i'm beginning to love glass desks..especially those without a background underneath support. without those supports, it's easy to get a cabling. of course, the monitors and stuff make this person look like they know what they're doing (and having fun at it!
I like #1 because it's simple, and I like simple, but it's far from the best setup I've seen. I work with a guy, and he's got the best setup in terms of matching coolness with simplicity.
don't you just hate it when people have more money than you?
I still wanna see someone with 4 30" displays hooked up to their Mac Pro/PowerMac in a 2 by 2 config to make a 60" display.
Or 8 23" displays on one MP/PM
Really nice setups. Anyone know what brand the speakers are in 4? I've seen them around before and I reckon they look reallly funky....
How would you put them on top of eachother to actually create a 16 mpx 60" display? But sweet idea....
