All Devices 7 Random Photos just Appeared in Photo Library

These 7 photos just randomly appeared in my Photo library. I was asking some other people and these photos also appeared on someone else’s phone a few days ago. Did someone at Apple accidentally do something?

I had these EXACT 7 photos appear in my library on March 20th, I freaked out and deleted them but have recovered them from recently deleted in Photos. (I'm the person spyker3292 mentions)


They're jpegs titled "IMG_0101" to "IMG_0107"
EXIF data says date taken is March 20th 2020 20:08 UTC+5

I'd assume that's the date they appeared in my photo library and not when they were taken because the timeline fits

Looks like something you'd see on a demo device in the Apple Store.

Out of curiosity, do you both have iCloud Photo Library enabled?

New theory is that they might be added to your library when you open the TI Nspire app (recently downloaded it since it’s free at the moment).
