Anyone know if the 700 character max for the app description includes spaces?

You can use more than 700 characters, the text is inaccurate. In one place it says 700, another says 1500 I believe. My description is about 1000 characters and fits fine.

Only the first 700 characters or so are visible without the customer scrolling. There are longer descriptions, but don't count on anything past the first hundred words or so getting read by most potential customers.

Some developers use this to their advantage by hiding technical details, disclaimers and limitations at the end of a longer description.

Aha, do you mean when viewing on their device? I've only been looking at it on iTunes on my computer. Maybe I should trim it down a bit...
