Does anyone know how much kbps streaming 720p over the Internet takes? I have someone in my complex constantly streaming this and it's eating up our 250gb threshold by Comcast.

That depends on the source. YouTube might differ from other streaming websites.

One 720p video I tested at YT had a bit-rate of 1.99 Mbit/s.

Now, I have another problem. Not only am I going over my daily cap, but over a majority of the traffic is upstream rather than downstream.

I don't think it's BT because I have not forwarded any BT ports for anyone in my complex. I can't think of any reasons why my upstream would be greater than my downstream considering most ppl just surf the web and stream movies.
