10-year-old with cancer couldn’t go to theater, studio brought DVD to house

The 10-year-old girl desperately wanted to see the new Disney-Pixar movie, “Up.” But the cancer-stricken girl was too sick to go to a theater.

Colby’s mother, Lisa, said she had asked her daughter if she could hang on until the movie arrived. “I’m ready (to die), but I’m going to wait for the movie,” she said her daughter replied.

Such a sad story but such a quality move by the Pixar people to have done this for the girl and her family. And to think that the poor girl dies shortly after the movie played.

Wow, there are truly good people left in this world. Such a touching story, truly heart wrenching.:(

I was relaying this story to someone earlier this evening and I got about half way through and actually choked up a bit. I can't imagine what that Pixar employee must've felt going through all that.

Probably happy that they were doing such a wonderful thing.
