incredibly sad, but at least she got her last wish, and that her parents were there with her at the end. good job Pixar on doing the right thing.

A real class act.
The band Journey did a similar thing in the '80s. A young boy's dying wish was to meet the band. They brought him a boombox with a tape of "Only The Young", which they had just recorded. He was the first person outside the studio to ever hear the song, and he passed away a few hours later. 🙁

What a sad story. 🙁 All the more so given the story's theme and that she died the same night. Props to Pixar for delivering when it counted most.

It's sad that she was too weak to actually see the movie but it was still very nice and she enjoyed it. 🙂
