Really?

Nice try.

Oh dear, are we having a recurrence of the pot and kettle show or is this the 4th grade aerospace class?

How about you go back to dealing with the issue and not taking issue with each other?

So any new news on this today? I've been away from Fox News and CNN all day, haven't heard any updates.

This is where I get my Aviation news:

I have not checked it today.

Interesting web site. Sorry to read about another Cirrus SR-2x accident. On paper this should be one of the safest airplanes in the GA fleet, but it doesn't seem to be working out that way.

Really, don't expect much beyond speculation until the NTSB reports. They take a year or more to release their final accident report, and they play their cards notoriously close to the chest in the meantime.

It's a really cool site. They have several daily podcasts as well. Their main podcast you can get from itunes, the others I listen to in Safari when they have something good on them.

Enjoy...

Hmm. I wonder, would the NTSB ever cite a violation of company policy as contributing to the cause of an accident?

The NTSB would not but the FAA would, Using the NTSB findings.

One thing, wouldn't having automatic braking on be safer. I Suppose the pilot might be slower to manualy brake if that is one and fails, but still I don't think it would make that big of a difference.
