It just showed up on my account today (or in the last few days since I've checked). See pic below. I don't IM or have any messaging programs at all on my phone. Thanks :)

Not sure, but the same started appearing on my account too.

I can only speculate, but I'm guessing this may be AT&T getting ready for MMS.
 
Mine too! I was checking that page once app for the account and that pulled up showningi used 9 outta 1500 which was for my texting ammount. Mms is soon! I really can't stand that view my messege thing I don't know how anyone bothered with that for the last two years even without copy and paste it sucked.
 
i have that to but the diffrence is that i have 0 listed int the regular messaging tab and 37 in integrated ive texted more than 37 times this billing cycle tho wierd huh?
 
im checking itunes for a carrier update just incase then i might give a ring to att

UPDATE: nothing in itunes big surprise there.

How come it says Used XXX/Unlimited?


Does it always say unlimited?

I said I don't have any instant messaging programs not texting plans. I was trying to clarify so that people didn't think it was a messaging program I downloaded :)
 
i have integrated messaging, too. it says i've used 1278 of unlimited :confused:

I think what might've happened is that the MMS optout was removed from our account. So every message we sent AFTER that code was removed has been put in the integrated messages category (ie mms and sms together). And everything from before is still in the texting category. Just my guess :)
 
i just got off the phone with att she said it might be vvm but it says i used 37 out of 200 so it cant be that since theres no cap to voicemail. also the lady had absolutly no clue what i was talking about. the att csr are so dumb in my opinion sshe also said there is no release date for mms so there u go

if the opt-out has been removed, then MMS should be working. which it isn't, for me at least.
 
Does this show up on your account at at&t wireless website? I couldn't find anything like that for mine. I deleted the AT&T app, since it didn't tell me enough information.

I had to wait til I could get home and get all of my name and information off the screenshot, sorry :D Ok, yes, as in the screenshot below, there are 2 seperate messaging titles in my online account but these 2 are called messaging and texting.

No, no, that's just my speculation. I didn't call or anything. I was just guessing. Since it's nothing I did or signed up for, it has to be on their end right?
i think they're preparing the remove the opt-out codes, but haven't done so yes.

I think so too! I think you're right- they're doing something that is causing this change just maybe not the whole hooopla yet. At least we have a step! :)
