mine shows 134 of 200 integrated messaging. nothing else is on the data page other than internet. similar situation for my dad. GIVE ME MMS!!!

Mine just says messaging, nothing about TXT/IM Messaging, pic attached.

I love how all of you are getting yourselves all excited that they're adding MMS soon, because of this change in your account. You are really making this wait fun for me to watch :D

MMS opt out and rate code

Where would I find this MMS opt out on my bill? I have gone back in my full bill history a full year and cannot find any MMS opt out on any bill. Additionally, all of these bills list my texting plan as "MEDIA MAX 200 MSGS". Under billing detail, the Feature code for all text messages up to and including 06/18/09 is listed as "Integrated Messaging". After this is when I upgraded to iPhone 3GS. There is no listing in the Feature Code column. Additionally, on this date the messaging rate code changed from "AMS1" to "MSG5". I don't know if this means anything. It could just be the change from original iPhone to iPhone 3GS, but here's hoping that it's a sign of MMS on the way?

No, I'm on iPhone 3GS now. Another note. I went into the manage features section of wireless.att.com and there is no texting plan with a radio button selected. It would seem that I have a non-iPhone messaging plan? I'm half tempted to update carrier file found online that allegedly enables MMS. Hrrrrm.

why not go for it

No MMS or Tethering

Update: I tried the benm.at to enable tethering/MMS. This temporarily enabled tethering on 3.0.1; however, after a short time, the option disappeared on its own. I then tried the .ipcc technique. This brought up the options to enter server information for MMS. I entered information found in may places which enabled the camera icon in the messaging app. I could compose, but no messages would send. Tethering was back as an option and would connect either by usb or bluetooth but did not have any throughput. I've messed with it enough and will wait until its officially rolled out. I still don't know what messaging plan I have though. If I check data usage, it says xx out of 200 messages used, but I don't have any radio boxes checked in the features section of my account. So long as I'm not getting charged per message, I'll get over it.

mWireless app showed two messaging plans (Text Messages and Integrated Messaging) late last month. It now only shows Integrated Messaging. During the last month, I had changed from 200 msgs/month to unlimited individual to unlimited family.

So, they've either changed our messaging plans (in anticipation of "something new" coming), or it's has to do with different plans - 200 max vs unlimited individual vs. unlimited family. (Not much help here, am I? LOL). I think it's probably the first one. ;-)

Mine has said only "Integrated Messaging" for months now, I have the family unlimited text plan. This could have something to do with when the MMS hack only worked when you had the family text plan on your account.
