When using the user switch menu to return to the login window or switch users, do you get the rotating cube effect? My new iMac does not, just wondering if there is something wrong.

I'm not sure, but I guess this has nothing to do with the graphics card. This should be a software issue. Also not sure if this cube animation is still present in Mavericks?

Sometimes I do, sometimes I don't. Same story for all my Macs.

    Software bug, I'll wager.

My MacPro running 10.9.2 shows the cube animation, but my iMac with 780m running the same version does not. I am guessing it is a bug with the 780m drivers.

Just checking what other 780m owners are seeing.
