I have 4 split up files that end in .zip.00x (x= 1 ; 2 ; 3 or 4). I am told this is a 7zip file. is there anyway to decompress it in OSX?

I'm not familiar with this zip file format specifically (is it simply just a spanned set?), but I would try Stuffit or unRARX for starters...

google search for "7-zip mac"
its a wonderful format, the win32 installer package of firefox is packed with 7zip, much smaller than rar or zip.

Oh god! The TERMINAL!!!!

OK, I remember the DOS days...I can do this....

(can anyone help me here?😱 )
