Taig announced today via twitter, it will be releasing today its jailbreak for IOS 8.4.
The release comes just days after Taig released a jailbreak for IOS 8.3.

It's not altogether clear if a Taig 8.4 jailbreak will be immediately compatible with Cydia.
Some suspect the short timelines of release will not require any substantial Cydia update, if at all.

Leave your results and experience with the new IOS 8.4 jailbreak from Taig.com here for other users.

I started downloading but aborted. Estimated time was 2 hours 56 min @ at rate of 10 kbps. I'm going to try later when the rest of the planet stops hammering the server.

It took me 6 minutes on MyWi Sprint LTE.

In contrast, on my Sprint Hotspot, I downloaded 2.0 GB of 2.23 GB in 20 minutes, then it timed out and I had to start over! HotSpot is much faster than MyWi, but my hotspot is only 6GB, and MyWi is on a 6+ unlimited data. Redownloading on MyWi.

Dang Apple, and the inability to "resume" an IOS download!! I was almost done downloading it again and my phone rang....Download timed out!

Just got it in two minutes. Holy cow, nothing like the last try which had to wait until the next day.

I'm going to wait until tomorrow when it all calms down and bugs have been identified.

Lol. I feel you. I did the same thing yesterday. It was easy enough. Restored to 8.4, restored backup, and jailbroke. Everything is working great.

Jailbreak 8.4 success. Nice work Taig.

I threw it on my dropbox. I will leave it on there for about 6 hours hours to help you guys out:

Is the process still the same as the 8.3 process except with this updated 8.4 file. What i mean is, i would need this, plus the vm software if on mac, and the iTunes 12.1.2 .27 and i should be good to go right? First time jail breaker am I'm looking so forward to this, so i just want to get all the details before i do it.

I jailbroke my iPhone and iPad right after Pangu released their (stolen) JB and it's working.
But now that the TaiG JB came out I'm wondering would it make any difference to re-jailbreak with TaiG or should I leave it as it is? Thanks!

Decided to go ahead and do 8.4 jailbreak since Apple has that interesting Music streaming thing going.

This time, Taig had it go really easy. Ran the new application as administrator after turning off pass code, find my iPhone into airplane mode and first shot right out of the gate done.

It restarted about three times and stopped at 20%, 40% 60% and 90% and then just kept going right through. Probably less than five minues.

Miraculous!

Thanks bud, will give it a go then. Turned on Apple music on my wife's phone and it's not half bad ;)
